The 23rd Commencement Ceremony for the 1+2+1 Sino-US Talent Training Program was held at Nantong University on June 10, 2026. More than 200 graduates from 15 Chinese universities and 8 American institutions attended the event. Professor Jin Shuai, Dean of the School of Management, was invited to the ceremony to confer tassel shifts and graduation certificates upon the Class of 2026 graduates majoring in Information Management and Information System from our school.
Jointly administered by the China Education International Exchange Association (CEAIE) under the Ministry of Education, the Center for International Education Exchange (CCIEE), and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), the 1+2+1 Sino-US Talent Training Program is an innovative two-way higher education exchange and cooperation initiative between China and the United States. Serving as a vital platform to share high-quality educational resources between the two countries, it cultivates interdisciplinary talents with global vision and cross-cultural competencies. Over its 25 years of development, the program has emerged as a successful model of Sino-US higher education cooperation. Information Management and Information System Program (Sino-US Joint Training Program with Mutual Credit Recognition) in School of Management is a 1+2+1 dual-degree cooperative program jointly offered with Northern Arizona University, USA. Graduates of its Class of 2026 have achieved outstanding further study results, with an overall postgraduate admission rate of 75%. Many students will pursue advanced studies at world-renowned universities including New York University, the University of Hong Kong, Nanyang Technological University, the University of Chicago, and Columbia University.
