On the morning of June 12, 2026, the MBA Center of Jiangsu University organized 15 international students for a field visit to the Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone. Fully arranged by the Science and Technology Investment Promotion Bureau of Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, this activity aimed to help international students gain in-depth insights into the regional industrial environment, broaden their practical vision of international management, facilitate industry-education integration and international talent exchanges, and bolster the coordinated development of regional economy and talent cultivation.

During the activity, the group of international students successively visited Zhenjiang Siyde Technology Co., Ltd. and the Yangtze River Delta Institute of Big Health Industry. Professor Fan Mingyue from the School of Management of Jiangsu University and Director Liu Senbao from the Zone’s Investment Promotion Bureau provided on-site English interpretation throughout the visit, ensuring smooth communication between Chinese and foreign participants.

At Zhenjiang Siyde Technology Co., Ltd., enterprise representatives elaborated on the company’s core products and key technologies. Technical staff demonstrated equipment operation procedures and relevant application scenarios on-site. The international students conducted close observation and study, acquiring intuitive knowledge of the enterprise’s technological advantages and standardized production and management models. They also held in-depth discussions with the enterprise’s team on technological innovation pathways and market expansion strategies, developing a more comprehensive understanding of the international development models of manufacturing enterprises. Subsequently, the students visited the Yangtze River Delta Institute of Big Health Industry, where they learned about the institute’s health product R&D system focusing on fermented soybean products, as well as the health value and market prospects of related products. The students also sampled the institute’s self-developed natto products on-site and shared their personal experiences and feedback.

This exchange activity has built an important bridge for industry-education integration and international communication between Jiangsu University and the Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone. Through field visits, on-site observations and interactive exchanges, international students have not only gained a deeper understanding of the development zone’s industrial development characteristics, but also integrated classroom management theories with industrial practice, effectively broadening their cross-cultural management vision. Moving forward, the MBA Center of Jiangsu University will further deepen cooperation with local industries, build more high-quality practical platforms, and contribute to international talent training and the coordinated development of the regional economy.
