School of Management organized a workshop seminar titled "Mastering the Art of Publishing in Top-Tier Journals" which was held on December 20, 2024, at 9:00 AM.

This workshop seminar was facilitated by Dr. James Michael Vardaman. Dr. Vardaman holds the Free Enterprise Chair of Excellence and is a Professor of Management at the Fogelman College of Business and Economics, where he also serves as the Management Ph.D. program coordinator at the University of Memphis and a seasoned contributor to prestigious ABDC A and A+ journals. Dr. Vardaman’s extensive experience, including being on the Editorial Review Board of several journals — i.e., Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Journal of Management — made him an ideal facilitator for the session.

His insights offered attendees a rare opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the publication process, from identifying suitable journals to navigating the intricacies of peer review. By equipping participants with practical strategies and actionable advice, the workshop underscored its commitment to fostering a culture of research excellence.
