School of Management hosted an engaging and dynamic recruitment fair for its international MBA students on December 11 at 2:00 PM in Room 1501 of the Sanjiang Building. The event aimed to provide career development opportunities for international students and strengthen connections between the university and prominent global companies. The fair witnessed a successful turnout and served as a productive platform for interaction between the students and Zhongtian Technology Group (ZTT), a global leader in the power and telecommunications industry.

The event commenced with a detailed introduction by Ms. Zhang Qiqi, HR Manager from Zhongtian Technology Submarine Cable Co., Ltd. (ZTTSC), a subsidiary of ZTT Group. Ms. Zhang presented an insightful overview of ZTTSC’s business operations, achievements, and its significant role in providing cutting-edge submarine and onshore power cable solutions globally. The presentation sparked keen interest among the attending MBA students, many of whom were eager to explore the career opportunities offered by ZTTSC in its rapidly expanding international markets.

During her presentation, Ms. Zhang emphasized ZTTSC’s strong global presence and industry leadership. The company specializes in designing and manufacturing a wide array of advanced cables, including AC and DC submarine power cables, fiber-optic cables, umbilical cables, and dynamic cables for offshore floating wind farms. ZTTSC serves sectors such as offshore wind energy, power transmission, telecommunications, and oil and gas, making it a pivotal player in driving the global transition to a low-carbon future.

Following the presentation, the floor was opened for a lively Q&A session. The international students, primarily enrolled in the School of Management’s MBA program, posed thoughtful questions regarding ZTTSC’s job requirements, career development paths, and company culture. Ms. Zhang provided detailed responses, elucidating the roles and responsibilities of positions such as After-Service Engineer (Foreign) and Overseas Sales Manager.

During the networking session, students interacted directly with the ZTTSC representatives. They discussed job-specific requirements, the application process, and company expectations. Students also received guidance on submitting their resumes, either on-site at the fair or via email to the company’s designated HR contact.

School of Management plans to host more recruitment events in the future, tailoring them to the diverse needs of its international student body.
