In order to enable close communication and establish a good learning atmosphere for postgraduate freshmen students of the School of Management, an academic welcome was held on the March 26, 2022 for the Spring 2022 new students. As in the August occasion, postgraduate students were encouraged to take advantage of the diverse opportunities in the school including the simulation laboratories, students’ office facility, steady internet access, well experienced faculty members, friendly and hardworking research teams and among others.

Since the school periodically organizes seminars, conferences and workshops in various research disciplines, postgraduate students were encouraged to participate and deepen their understanding of fundamental elements necessary for their academic and research work. Students were assured of management’s continuous support for a smooth study period by maintaining the School of Management scholarship award and other award prizes as a motivation to well-performing students for their academic and research contributions.

Mr. Francis Dabuo who is the postgraduate student leader for the School of Management reinvigorated all the freshmen in the department to strengthen their interpersonal relationship with their supervisors and academic advisers. He also touched on the need for students to abide by school rules and regulations as well as the laws of China.

Both offline and online diverse international students of the department attended the ceremony online and had the opportunity to ask relevant questions. They were all satisfied with the responses they received.
