The Asia Pacific Innovation Conference 2021 was hosted by Jiangsu University in collaboration with Institute of New Structural Economics and Intellectual Property. It was co-organized by School of Intellectual Property and School of Management at Jiangsu University respectively. This conference was also supported by Yuwell Group and Zhenjiang branch of China Mobile Communications Group Jiangsu Co. Ltd.  The theme for this conference was “Innovation and Global Economic Recovery” and it was held on 3^rd and 4^th December, 2021.

Several universities in China and across the world such as Tsinghua, Peking, Shanghai University, Hefei University of Technology, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Macau University, Osaka City University, University of Johannesburg, Swinburne University of Technology, and ZEW-Leibniz Center for European Economic Research in Mennheim-Germany and many others participated. There was also a section for editors in top journals to present guidelines for researchers from topic selection to manuscript submission as well as what goes into review and editors’ decision.  

The conference was chaired by 4 professors for different sections. Various professors and representatives from different universities and institutions gave keynote speeches which all dealt with different aspects of the theme of the conference.

The speakers presented several interesting and innovative topics on December 3 and 4 and answered questions thrown by audience. At the closing ceremony of the program, Top 4, 8 and 11 Presenters were given First, Second and Third Prize Excellent Paper presentation respectively. Florence Appiah-Twum from School of Management was one of the first prize winners.

The program was well organized and attended by several audience across the world and it was an amazing platform for learning, knowledge sharing and interaction which would enhance researchers’ skills and capabilities.
