The Management and Finance sub-forum of the 11th Sino-Foreign conference of Jiangsu University was held on November 21, 2021 and it was organized and hosted by School of Management. This forum, which creates a conducive academic platform for Chinese and foreign graduate student to think, research and engage in cross-cultural events together, was the themed “New Idea, New Opportunity, New Development”. The event was held in the conference hall of School of Management in Sanjiang Building from 8:00 am. The forum featured both virtual and offline presentations and attendance. Thirteen research papers were selected for oral presentation from a pool of submitted research work based on novelty, content quality and contribution to literature. There were also sixty poster presentations from which eighteen best posters (nine from School of Management, eight from School of Finance and Economics and one from Institute of Science and Information Technology) were selected via voting by participants and audience. The judges for the forum were Associate Professor Li Zhiwen from the School of Management, Associate Research Librarian and tutor from Institute of Science and Information Technology Ms Jia Huizhen, and Associate Professor Dragana Ostic from the School of Finance and Economics. Associate Professor Sun Dongying from the School of Management was the main speaker and special guest for the forum. His keynote presentation was on Spatio-Temporal Differentiation and Influencing Factors of Urban Water Supply System Resilience in the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration. After the keynote address the competition for oral presentation started. The participants presented their research work to the admiration of the judges and audience. After seven oral presentations, there was a short break for interaction, refreshments and voting for the best poster outside the conference room. The second session of the oral presentation continued after the break. After the insightful presentations of excellent academic work and demonstration of enhanced research knowledge in responding to posed questions from judges, marks were awarded to each participant. Wang Tianzi was adjudged the overall winner for the oral presentation from the collated results followed by Beverlley Madzikanda who are both from the School of Management. The third and fourth position were won by Qian Jing and David Alemzero from Institute of Science and Information Technology, and School of Finance and Economics respectively. The winners for the best poster award for School of Management were Liu Yuhan, Francis Tang Dabuo, Isidore Komla Zotoo, Ahotovi Thomas Ahoto, Xe Liling, Philomena Pomaa Ofori, Wang Qiuru, Edwina Naa Amerley Amerteifio and Priscilla Adomako Gyasi. A group photograph with judges, presenters and audience were taken. In general, the event was well organized and well attended. It was an academic enjoyment for everyone. The 11th Sino-Foreign Postgraduate forum for management and finance ended at 12:15 PM Beijing time and the MCs for the event were Francis Tang Dabuo and Qiao Na from the School Management.
