The School of Management in Jiangsu University stems from the cadres training class which was established in November, 1982. Based on this training class, the Department of Management Engineering and Computer Science was set up in 1984. Then the Department of Management Engineering was set up in 1985, and the Branch of Industry Management Engineering was founded in May, 1988.
